LifeSpring Community Church Care Team Ministry

Care Team Ministry

The purpose of the Care Team ministry is predicated upon New Testament Scriptures reminding us to care for one another:
  • Be devoted to one another in brotherly love – Romans 12:10
  • Have equal concern for one another – 1 Corinthians 12:25
  • Serve one another in love – Galatians 5:13
  • Love one another – 1 John 3:11, 23, 1 John 4:7-11, 12, 2 John 5

HOGS

Purpose: The HOGS ministry (Hands of God Serving) maintains the building and grounds at LifeSpring and assists congregation members with physical needs. Volunteers receive an email list of current needs and can sign up to help as they’re able.

Meals Ministry

The Meals Ministry provides free dinner meals to LifeSpring attenders and members who are walking through challenging seasons — recovering from medical issues, facing personal crisis or loss, or welcoming a new baby. Our volunteers joyfully give their time, resources, and cooking skills to bless those in need.

Whom We Serve

  • Members and regular attenders of LifeSpring Community Church
  • Individuals or families whose needs aren’t already being met by a LifeGroup, family, or friends

When Meals Begin

To help our volunteers prepare well, we ask for 48–72 hours notice before the first meal begins. (Exceptions can be made when necessary.)

How Long Support Lasts

  • 1-2 weeks of support
  • Dinner meals every other day. If more time is needed, we’ll reassess at the end of the schedule and may extend the support.

Before Reaching Out, Please Consider:

  • Is help already available through a LifeGroup, family, or friends?
  • If requesting on someone else’s behalf, do you have their permission?

How to Request Meals

Meal requests can be made directly to the Care Team Coordinator, Patricia Abbatiello, careteam@lifespringefc.org.
