The Vision

LifeSpring is building a place to gather that will bless the neighborhoods, schools, & families in the greater Richmond Spring Grove Community.

What if...

What if the local church was the heartbeat of the community? Not only for church on Sundays, or limited to church events. What if the local church was the place people in the community wanted to come to gather?

What is Place to Gather?  

What is Place to Gather?  

“Place to Gather” is, as its name suggests, a place for the community to come together. Place to Gather is meant to be used by all people in the Spring Grove community.   

In 2022 LifeSpring Community Church gifted improved land to a separate charitable organization (PtG Community Center) for the purpose of building an all-inclusive playground, a pavilion and community center that would serve the neighborhoods, schools and families in the surrounding areas.   

When the entire project is complete, it will also include a walking path (“exercise and prayer trail”) and marketplace with shops and restaurants, Already built is the first phase of LifeSpring Community Church.   

The additional amenities beyond the church itself are meant for the use of the general public including residents of Spring Grove and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Heartbeat of the Community Ministry Campaign  

The Heartbeat of the Community Ministry Campaign is an investment in the future impact of LifeSpring on our community.

In 2018 LifeSpring purchased 21 1⁄2 acres, envisioning a church as the heartbeat of the community. This birthed the Place to Gather initiative, living out the Gospel as a community on a mission. Since then, our congregation has more than doubled in size, and our impact continues to grow as we serve the community and each other. LifeSpring’s focus remains on the Message, the Community, and the Mission of God’s Kingdom, a philosophy captured in LifeSpring’s DNA – Gospel, Gather, Go!
