LifeKids
Ages 6 months to 5th grade

Kids Becoming Disciples of Christ Together.
Our vision is to partner with families to grow children passionate for Christ. It is our belief that a child’s faith is primarily formed at home and our role is to come alongside parents in partnership. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
Our goal is to engage children and their families in the Gospel to build a firm foundation in Jesus. Within a community of prayer and encouragement, LifeKids teachers model and emphasize sharing the love of Christ with others and develop disciple makers of all ages.
Our program provides a safe, and loving environment in which children will learn about Christ. We strive to partner with parents in teaching children to know, love and serve Jesus while building lasting faith foundations.
The nursery is open year-round for children aged 6 months to 2 years. This is a joyful place to play, sing and hear a Bible story!
Sunday School runs during the school year and is for children ages 3 – Grade 5. In these classes, children will enjoy singing, stories, scripture memory and workbooks.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me."
Matthew 19:14
What to Expect
Check In and Pick Up
ALL Children 6 months – 5th grade who are taking advantage of the classes can CHECK IN in the lobby or on the Church Center App.
This Check in process will give each child a name tag and a parental tag. Please direct your child to class at 10:05am with their name tag on. After service please have your “parental tag” visible as you pick up ALL ages of children.
Nursery Class
This room is open on Sunday morning at 10:05am. You may also choose for your child to participate in the first part of the service in the sanctuary and then bring them to play after the first few songs. If you have a diaper, bottle, or cup, please label it. To ensure safety and cleanliness of the nursery facilities, parents/guardians are asked not to come past the counter to drop off their children.
3-4 Year Olds Class
All children start out with singing in the large classroom (pre-k-kindergarten room) before heading to their classes. This age will be learning from the AWANA Cubbie program that includes a puppet show, a Bible story, a project and a small amount of play time.
K-5th Grade Classes
All children start out with singing in the large classroom (pre-k-kindergarten room) before heading to their classes. This group of children are using a 4-year curriculum that goes through the Bible chronologically. They hear a story, have hands on games, worksheets, scripture memory and more!
Safety
All teachers are members of LifeSpring. Any adult who remains in any classroom must have a background check through LifeSpring. This is for the safety of all our children and staff.
Child Dedications
Children are a gift from God.
Psalm 127:3 proclaims, "Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward."
As believers, we are called to recognize that children belong first and foremost to God. God in his goodness gives children as gifts to parents. They not only have the awesome responsibility of caring for this gift, but also the wonderful privilege of enjoying the gift. Because children belong to God and are given by grace as gifts to parents, it is only proper and appropriate that children be dedicated back to God.
